Juhani assists our clients especially in the field of public procurement and projects, and competition law. In addition, he assists our clients in contract law and dispute resolution assignments. Juhani has a broad experience in a wide variety of business law areas. During his career, Juhani has advised clients in high-profile mergers and acquisitions and in several projects in the ICT, energy, pharmaceutical, transport, and defence industries. Juhani has also assisted clients in several litigations concerning public contracts. Juhani has previously pursued a career in the public sector, including several years as a commercial lawyer in the Finnish Defence Forces, where he was responsible for several significant procurement projects and litigations.
Juhani Matinlassi represented the Republic of Finland/Finnish Defence Forces before the Market Court in an appeal matter concerning the procurement of a new Small Arms family for the Finnish and Swedish Defence Forces.
