Millog Oy – Acquisition of Virve Tuotteet ja Palvelut Oy

Applex advised Millog Oy on its acquisition of Virve Tuotteet ja Palvelut Oy from Suomen Erillisverkot Oy. The transaction was completed on January 2, 2020.

The purchaser Millog provides support and maintenance services for the Finnish Defence Forces’ systems and material as well as for various other critical systems and material. Millog Group has more than 1,000 employees and an annual turnover exceeding EUR 200 million.

Virve Tuotteet ja Palvelut Oy is engaged in sale, operation and maintenance of Terrestrial Trunked Radio-networks (TETRA) compatible radio terminals that are used inter alia in the Finnish “Virve” network. The company is an authorized reseller and maintenance provider of Airbus radio terminals. The company has an annual turnover of ca EUR 5.5 million, and its clients comprise, for example, the Finnish Defence Forces, police, rescue service operators, health care and social services operators, Emergency Response Centre Agency, the Finnish Border Guard and various other state and municipality actors.
