EUR 20 million Investment round of Wirepas Oy

Applex represented Wirepas Oy in its approximately EUR 20 million financing round lead by Highland Europe. Other investors were Amalfi, IQT, ETF Partners, KPN Ventures, Vito Ventures and Vesa Laisi. Funds were raised to build Wirepas’ low-cost, low-energy scalable IoT networks for global enterprise.

Wirepas develops wireless connectivity technology for IoT sensors for example and licenses its technology to component manufacturers. Tampere based company operates in Asia, Australia, Europe and in the US. The company has around 80 employees.
