Adara Pakkaus Oy – Acquisition of ER-Pahvityö Oy

Applex advised Adara Pakkaus Oy on its acquisition of ER-Pahvityö Oy. The transaction was completed on 2 September 2024.

The purchaser Adara Pakkaus is a notable Finnish manufacturer of corrugated cardboard and corrugated packaging having its production facilities in Valkeakoski, Finland. Adara Pakkaus has ca 100 employees and an annual turnover of ca EUR 43 million.

ER-Pahvityö is a designer, manufacturer and seller of various cardboard packaging solutions. The company has an annual turnover of ca EUR 5 million. The acquisition will provide the buyer Adara with a competent partner for fast-cycle small series production, allowing Adara to further focus its Valkeakoski operations on manufacturing medium and higher volume production.
