Wirepas Ltd’s equity financing round

Applex Attorneys assisted Wirepas Ltd when the company raised approximately EUR 10 million equity financing for acceleration of its new technology development.

In the round, the company’s current investors, Finnish Industry Investment and Karma Ventures from Estonia, invested in Wirepas. Funds raised will be used for investments related to 5G standardization as well as Wirepas’ long-term research. The company completed its previous financing round in 2019 and has in total raised over EUR 30 million in equity financing.

Wirepas Ltd is a software company developing and providing enterprise IoT. The company’s headquarter is in Tampere and it has five branches in Asia, Australia, Europe and the US. Wirepas employs 65 people.
